Hurricane-Impact Curtain Wall
HR-rated systems engineered and installed to Texas windstorm code — as on Mammoet USA, built off-site and moved intact.
Our hurricane-impact curtain wall is captured horizontally, with structural silicone glazing (SSG) joints on the vertical butt glaze. The wall is sloped and aligns across every floor.
- Captured-horizontal curtain wall with SSG vertical butt-glaze joints
- Sloped, floor-aligned curtain-wall geometry
- Off-site fabrication for complex or relocatable structures
- Coordination with your GC and architect from takeoff through install
Mammoet USA was built as an HR251 hurricane-impact system engineered to Texas windstorm code: the entire building was fabricated off-site, then picked up and moved intact to its permanent home in Rosharon, TX. GC: Noble Building & Development, LLC — one of many projects we've completed together.
