Curtain Wall
Thermally broken, center-set flush glaze with steel-reinforced mullions to meet wind-load requirements — as on Niagara Bottling Company. Engineering provided by Cyrex.
This Niagara Bottling Company project consists of a 3" x 10" curtain wall with a 203 punched opening — 28 feet off the ground — of thermally broken, center-set, flush glaze. The insulated glass color, chosen to represent water, is highlighted in the front-entry curtain wall, vision lites, and spandrel glass.
The majority of the project was completed using a 40' boom lift. The 3" x 10" curtain wall mullions were filled with solid steel bar to meet wind-load requirements, per engineering provided by Cyrex.
